11 days before

One year ago I tried to send these pictures of Tom, that he took of himself 11 days before he was killed. I had asked him to send me some photos in a recent phone call we had. Last year the photo and note didn't go thru and I could not compose myself to try again. I have had many dreams in which Tom has come to me so clearly and we have spoken. My heart continues to long for his presence, but I have many people who love me including Tom. My gratitude and love goes out to all who think of him and have helped me make connections on this journey. And most especially to J for working so hard on this web site, which is so beautiful. Tom would be so honored . Tom has connected us all thru his kindness and love. I am ever so grateful.   Rose

Tom Stone turns 50! and he is holding the love of his life.! We are on our deck on a beautiful day, May 11th. 2003. Today my heart is shattered though I will never stop loving that man. All we can do is continue to love, we cannot give up.

All shots have been taken on the 15 july 1999 on Teslin lake, Yukon territories ,Canada, where I met Tom on his way down from Alaska.The peaks in the back - are the so called Dawson Peaks - the resort we met at and where he helped out for a few weeks is named after those peaks - the Dawson Peaks Resort,which is a wonderful spot on the alaska highway , a few miles south of Teslin Village.

My story about Tom - he literally has been the first person who got me not only "hooked" by his stories and his pure presence - no - he really did it - while fishing I got his hook in my back - he obviously did go for something bigger than a lake trout :-)
